My story

A lifelong partnership with horses.

Molly grew up in Free Union, Virginia, at a hunter/jumper and foxhunting barn and was introduced to eventing around age 10. What started as a childhood love of horses has grown into a career centered around developing horses to reach their full potential.

Molly has competed through the Preliminary level in eventing and has brought each of her own competition horses up through the levels herself. She has also spent several seasons whipping-in for Farmington Hunt Club and currently whips-in for Glenmore Hunt.

Now based in Staunton, Virginia, she enjoys everything from starting babies and developing young horses to working with horses that have quirks, confidence issues, or training difficulties. She loves the challenge of figuring out what makes each individual horse tick and helping them become confident, capable partners.

Molly has also worked with many off-track Thoroughbreds over the years and has a particular love for the breed, their athleticism, and their versatility.

At the heart of it all, Molly loves producing horses - giving them a strong foundation, building their confidence, and seeing just how far they can go!

How I work

A philosophy built on patience.

Three principles guide every horse and rider that comes through our program.

01

Horse First

Every decision starts with what's right for the horse - their soundness, their mind, and their long-term development, not just the next show.

02

Honest Communication

I tell clients the truth about their horse's progress and readiness, even when it's not what they want to hear. Trust matters more than flattery.

03

Steady Progress

Real training happens in small, correct steps repeated consistently - not in shortcuts that look good for a season and fall apart the next.

Off the clock

Beyond the barn.

Looking for Molly? Good luck! Around here, the chances of finding her sitting at home are pretty slim. She's usually at the barn, riding, teaching, training, coaching at a show, or somewhere down the road with a horse trailer in tow. There's rarely a dull moment at PrimeTime Eventing, and we're pretty sure nobody around here knows how to sit still! So if you're still looking for Molly, your best bet is to call or text first because odds are, she's already off doing something horse-related!
